Laos Charges Distillery Owner and Hostel Staff Over Tourist Deaths in Vang Vieng
Laos has indicted a distillery owner and staff from Nana Backpackers Hostel following the deaths of six foreign tourists in Vang Vieng in November 2024. Methanol was found in a locally produced drink, though autopsies were not conducted on five victims.
