Thailand intensifies crackdown on foreign land ownership schemes in southern tourist hotspots
Thai authorities have arrested 96 people, including 67 foreigners from 14 nationalities, in a major enforcement operation against illegal foreign land ownership schemes in Phuket and other southern tourist provinces. The operation uncovered 172 land plots valued at 1.671 billion baht.
