Thailand imposes alcohol ban during Bangkok and Pattaya local elections on June 27–28
Thailand's Election Commission has enacted a complete prohibition on alcohol sales and service across Bangkok and Pattaya from 6pm June 27 to 6pm June 28 during gubernatorial and city council elections. Violations carry prison time and fines.
